Wipes

Every parent with young children simply can’t avoid using some kind of wipes, they are often stashed in bags, cars and every room in the house for any unexpected mishaps or grubby faces.

We know that single-use wipes aren’t great for the planet so here’s some easy things you could do to make the switch to becoming wipe free.

  • Buy a handful of flannels or face cloths to keep at home – store some in the bathroom and kitchen – if you’ve got them to hand in these rooms then you are less likely to reach for the wipes. You can buy flannels from many highstreet stores and online but here’s some from Cheeky Wipes
  • When you’re heading out, go DIY and take a damp flannel in a small box to wipe any dirty faces during the day – when you get home, simply throw it in the washing machine!
  • Or you can opt for a pre-bought kit which includes washable wipes, a box, scented oil and bags for the used cloths when you’re out and about.
  • If your household hasn’t quite reached potty trained age yet and you want to go a step further and eliminate wipes completely, there are lots of solutions for nappy changing too. If you’re not quite brave enough to tackle a heavily soiled nappy with a reusable wipe then even switching to reusable wipes for wet nappies can make a big difference to our environment.

For your re-usable wipes needs, we love Cheeky Wipes.
